Given this growth and demand for their services, they are looking to hire a Java Software Engineer Developer to focus on the next generation of their web and cloud solutions. Key skills/experience required:In-depth development experience with Java, and experience with Java 8Cloud infrastructure development experienceProven track record of API developmentExperience of helping to design large scale systems with NoSQL, MySQL, etcExperience with server side programming languages including Go, Python, PHP, will be a distinct bonusFamiliarity with server architectures, web services (REST, SOAP) and distributed systems, microservices, etc.Experience of architectural design of large, high-scale web applicationsWeb concepts such as session, cache, cookies, connection pooling, etc.Remote working is available, with a view to being back in the office on a flexible basis in the future, so you will need (or plan to) to live within commutable distance of their offices.
