PAYE Umbrella: to £475pd (Inside IR35*)

6 Month Contract

Remote Working

As a preferred and trusted recruitment partner to this international banking group for over eight years, we are assisting in the hire of a contract Senior DBA to join them on a remote working six-month contract. This role will include an on-call allowance and you will be asked to go on a on call rota likely 1 week in 6.

Skills / Experience Required

DBA duties predominately for:

SQL Server / MSSQL 2008 / 2012 / 2014 / 2016 / 2017 / 2019 (including Always-On and Analysis Services).

Oracle 11g / 12c / 18c / 19c (including RAC, ASM, DataGuard and ODA appliances).

This role will be a mix of project and BAU and will encompass typical database administration duties that you may expect in a large-scale bank environment: performance tuning, replication, database design, configuration etc.

The wider technical environment covers the following tech stack that you will be exposed to:

Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

Linux and Windows

Snowflake.

Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, C#, Java, Ruby, SQL, BMC Control-M, ESX VMWare, Nutanix HCI, Rubrik, EMC and HDS storage arrays, EMC Networker, Data Domain and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, Bradmark, Oracle Cloud Control and Tivoil, Active Directory, LDAP and Kerberos, GitHub, Subversion and TeamCity, CyberArk, Splunk and QRadar, Qualys, SharePoint, JIRA and Confluence, ServiceNow and Serena Business Manager, Azure, AWS, GCP and Oracle

This role will suit individuals who have held the following roles: Senior DBA, Senior Database Administrator, Database Platform Engineer, Database Engineer. Individuals that have worked in the bank / banking sector

*Inside IR35 (PAYE Umbrella) Breakdown: This contract is Inside IR35 and you will need to contract via an Umbrella company on PAYE. This role pays up to £475pd (which includes holiday accrual). However, your umbrella will be paid £557.18pd as our client will provide an uplift to pay for Employer's NI (13.8%), The Apprenticeship Levy (0.5%) and Pension Contributions (3%) - therefore none of this is deducted from your £475 day rate.
