Director of Data Technology Our client is the UK's largest university, a world leader in flexible part-time education combining a mission to widen access to higher education with research excellence, transforming lives through education. This role will take ownership of a newly implemented Azure Data Hub and lead its transition of this from successful change programme to a business as usual state that will enable continued growth and innovation with data. As part of the Chief Data Office this role will work in partnership with the Data Management and Data and Student Analytics Functions to deliver an end to end data service. The Opportunity The effective use of data is key to the successful delivery of our client's strategic goals. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer as part of the CIO Portfolio, this is a key senior management appointment to build and run the Data Technology Capability for the organisation. As the Director of Data Technology, you will take ownership and lead a Data Technology Team to have a strategic advisory role on all current and future data technology adoption. You will be responsible for shaping and refining the Data Technology function whilst working very closely with other data teams across the University to help deliver the OU's strategic data missions.
