Senior Product Analytics Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the growing Insight and Analytics team at the Telegraph within the Subscriptions Department. The main purpose of the role is to manage and deliver digital product reporting, insight, and analysis requirements for the business helping drive the engagement, acquisition and retention of digital subscribers. The primary stakeholder groups are the Product and Subscriptions teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

Manage a digital product focused analytical team at The Telegraph and bring exceptional insight & analytical skills and experience, combined with a very hands-on approach.

Manage the workload, team capacity and prioritisation process across multiple stakeholders across the two workstreams of Testing & Product optimisation evaluation.

Deliver robust and rigorous product optimisation analysis across the Telegraph website and App clearly communicating results and reinforcing a test-learn-refine approach to working.

Reporting on and offering insight into A/B and MVT testing, enhancements to user experience and tracking recommended changes to digital products - working closely with the web and app development teams.

Collaborate across the wider Insight & Analytics team (including Data Science, Research and Editorial Insight team) to drive insights and understanding to help deliver broader subscriptions growth.

Define and support the delivery of the data and system requirements for running a best in class digital product analytics team.

Requirements:

Extensive knowledge of Adobe Stack, especially Adobe Analytics & Adobe Target (or equivalent).

Experience using a variety of testing methodologies.

Expert knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques, with a proven track record in delivering reports, insight and analysis with business recommendations that demonstrably increase performance.

Previous experience of building and shaping teams high performing teams.

Stand out stakeholder management skills, moving beyond the client/supplier relationship to business partner and help set successful growth strategies and proactively managing the workload to identify new opportunities.

Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences.

Evidence of building collaborative relationships across multiple business divisions to deliver solutions, including other insight & analytics teams (Data Science and Research) Technology, Commercial and Editorial teams.

A positive and productive attitude that proactively finds solutions to problems, constructively balancing the speed and quality of delivery.

Knowledge of SQL, statistical analysis techniques/languages and experience within a digital native and desirable but not essential.
