Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Location: Nationwide

Salary: Circa £60,000 per annum, dependent upon experience

Position: Full Time, Permanent

The company are the world leader in labelling software solutions focused on the Life Science and Medical Device industries. They number many of the world's top ten Medical Device manufacturers and numerous large pharmaceutical companies among their clients. They have built their solutions on many years of experience serving the sectors and are a thought leader in the space.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Developer to join their team based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Role Overview:

Working within a team of developers and testers you will be involved in the full project life cycle for the PRISYM 360 platform. PRISYM 360 is a modern web-based, cross-browser, enterprise-class label life cycle management platform built specifically to meet the rigour required for the Life Sciences industry.

It's provided with formal documentation, and it is scalable from small, single site implementations to global deployments employing a data driven approach and commonly integrated to existing business systems.

Job Duties:

Developing quality assured customer ready solutions as part of a team

Work closely with Product Management and other stakeholders to refine requirements

Design, modelling, general programming and investigation tasks for the development, modification and maintenance of all software products

Conform with the company's quality procedures

Write documentation in support of developed products

When in a team leading position, you will be responsible for task allocation, building a positive work environment, maintaining a high motivation level and mentoring personal growth for the team members

Unit testing of software products

About you:

The ideal candidate will have the relevant commercial experience of C# and ASP.Net MVC, JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML development, JQuery, working knowledge of MS SQL Server and Oracle, good attention to detail and live local to Wokingham.

A key skill for this position is the ability to address a set of business requirements with effective technical solutions.

You will also need to have a proven track record in designing, building and maintaining enterprise level applications.

A working knowledge of SPA, Knockout or similar framework, NHibernate and/or experience of working within the GAMP V-Model would be an advantage.

Person Profile

The need is essentially for an experienced full stack developer who has a bias towards the front end / web technologies rather than the database tier

Someone with lots of C# and database knowledge but limited or only very recent web technologies exposure is NOT right for this role

You will need to 'like' working with people; keep good and open relationships with various colleagues

Be able to commute reliably to office base and perform occasional international travel

Be able to follow and understand requirement gathering discussions and refinement sessions
