Optimisation Engineer

£40,000 + Healthcare + Pension + Holidays + Progression

Do you have experience in energy optimization and Energy Management Systems? Are you looking for a challenging role with a company that will help you become an expert in your field?

In this role you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing Energy Optimisation Systems, as well as modelling, simulating and analysing Energy Systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical understanding of Energy Systems and at least 3 years' experience of simulating these. They will also be competent in script programming and knowledgeable on Modbus TCP/IP communication and networking.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has already established themselves as a technical leader in the field of Energy Management and now wants to be a part of a large international company that will give them the opportunity for various avenues of progression.

The role:

* Designing, developing and implementing Energy Optimisation Systems

* Developing AI algorithms with Python

* Modelling, simulating and analysing Energy Systems

* Calculating and presenting energy/cost saving solutions

The person:

* Solid understanding of Energy Systems backed up by minimum 3 years' experience of simulation

* Experience in Python/Basic/Shell script programming

* Knowledge of Modbus TCP/IP communication and network skills

* Results-driven and motivated by opportunities for continuous improvement

* Positive attitude to work and a team player
