SC Citrix SME (Outside of IR35)

Our major, international client requires a Citrix Design SME to join the Modern Workplace Solution Implementation team of a significant account. You will be focused on a major transformation program of the IT estate, and will need to work with key company stakeholders to help solution the Modern Workplace transformation stream

Core Skills and Experience:

* Depth & breadth of technical knowledge to design & scope multiple deliverables across a number of technologies such as Wintel, Storage and Networking while specialising in Citrix

* Broad knowledge in other technical areas to properly manage complex integration efforts. Demonstrating the application of technical expertise in successful engagements involving multiple disciplines to provide solutions which encompass multiple technologies

* Multiple Server OS platforms, including support & configuration of a locked-down environment

* Leading on team workshops/meetings & technical forums providing detailed reports & status updates to the program & lead engineer forums

* A broad understanding of market dynamics, commercial issues, & technical concerns whilst maintaining depth in core focus area of Citrix technologies.

* CCP & MCSE Certified working towards CCEE/CCIA

* Innovating and communicating new deliverables & offerings. Leading teams in the delivery of multiple concurrent deliverables across numerous technologies

* Citrix product suite expert- designing & implementing multiple large-scale Citrix solutions over distributed locations

* Integrating & upgrading XenApp farms to multiple large-scale customers, using this knowledge to produce concise engineering. Providing consultancy to multiple deliveries whilst tailoring the advice to the environment specifics to adhere to customer requirements

* Designing, configuring & maintaining NetScaler deployments

* Enterprise scale solutions in both Greenfield deployments & designs which are cognisant of existing infrastructure. Producing detailed migration solutions which can then be fed into detailed project plans

* Developing solutions that enhance the availability, performance, maintainability & agility of the existing Citrix infrastructure. Re-use-ing existing experience to develop new solutions to take to market

* Providing detailed high-level troubleshooting for support escalations

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Team player but can also work unsupervised

* Expert level diagnostic & logical fault-finding skills (4th line level)

* Knowledge of both physical & virtual environments

* Virtual infrastructure skills, administration for templates, clones & virtual disks

* PowerShell

* Awareness of ITIL practices & processes

* Excellent communication skills - able to confidently converse across all levels of management
