Head of Solar EngineeringUnited Kingdom£80,000 - £100,000 + Shares + Holidays + PensionRise Energy are working exclusively with our client for executive appointments into the Renewable Energy sector. We are currently looking for an individual with strong experience in Solar engineering to play a part in the company's rollout of an exciting new project across the UK.In this role you will be working closely alongside the Chief Technical Officer to lead a team of Engineers in delivering large-scale Solar PV projects. This will include everything from pre-consent and survey stage up to construction, installation and commissioning.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated their capability for delivering such projects from similar previous work and will be motivated by the responsibility that comes with the role.This is a great role for someone who wants to have a significant part within a company during the early stages of their growth, and for someone who enjoys supporting others by providing technical guidance and oversight.The role:

* Working closely alongside the CTO to grow and lead a team of Solar Engineers

* Providing engineering guidance for the rollout of a nationwide Solar project

* Contribution to all stages of project life cycle

The person:

* Previous experience in developing successful Solar PV projects

* Relevant technical or business degree, or a project management qualification (preferred)

* Good communication skills and capable of presenting technical information in an easily understandable manner
