A leading manufacturer of Connector is currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer based in North England to manage the existing customers and build new business within the region. The role will be a mixture of both Technical and Commercial responsibilities therefore, the right candidate must have a strong technical understand of Electronic Components including Connectors as well as a Degree in Electronic Engineering, or equivalent. Requirements:Technical understand of Electronics & Connectors and the ability to effectively communicate this knowledge to customers.Degree or equivalent in Electronic/Electrical engineeringSelf-motivate and willingness to travel throughout the whole of the UK, and possibly some parts of Europe, to meet clients/customers and attend tradeshows.Responsibilities
Support customer’s projects with product recommendations during design-in phase and with technical advice/problem solving throughoutAssist in tracking market trends and generate product roadmapsEmploy technical knowledge in order to promote and sell products.Generate new business opportunities to increase the current customer base.The ideal candidate would be someone who has the relevant technical background and previous experience of selling Connector within the region & ideally an existing network they can engage with.
