Embedded Software Engineers - Communications are sought by this leading communications company for their R+D Centre near Frankfurt. They seek Embedded Software Engineers - Communications to develop the next generation of CPE Gateway software. This software will be integrated into communications systems worldwide powering high speed networking in the future. The Embedded Software Engineers - Communications will be working in a low level Linux environment liaising with the open-source community and working in both kernel and user-space. Your background must include a successful track record developing embedded software for network applications. You should have a good knowledge of multiple WAN integration (GPON, DSL, DOCIS) and modern networking protocols. Any exposure to working with the open-source community is a benefit as is some experience developing Linux kernel level software. Candidates need to be already working and living in the EU.
