Metallurgist / Materials Technician (Graduate)

Are you a Metallurgist/ Materials Technician looking to work within an engineering centre of excellence offering structured training and progression into senior roles?

This specialist Engineering Consultancy has experienced accelerated growth over the past five years and plans to continue this. They are therefore looking for a Metallurgist to join this market leading company and progress their career with the company.

You will be responsible for conducting site based and in-house metallurgical assessments, liaising closely with clients, and Inspectors.

The role would suit an experienced Metallurgist looking to become a technical expert within this particular field that wants the realistic opportunity of progression into senior roles.

The Role:

* Carrying out site based tests

* Performing and reporting on metallurgist examinations and investigations

* Reports would cover Product Specification tests, Condition Assessment and Failure Analysis.

The Person:

* Metallurgist/Materials degree or experience in a metallurgical test house

* Looking to work within the Power, Petrochemical industry

* Prepared to travel occasionally

* Looking for training and progression.
