QA Automation Engineer / API Tester London to £55k

QA Automation Engineer / API Tester (Selenium REST Assured API) *Remote WfH*. Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career and make an impact? You could be joining a technology driven Derivatives Trading technology company as they expand their UK presence, you'll be encouraged to take ownership of your work, bring new ideas and influence technology choices allowing you to make your mark.

As a QA Automation Engineer / API Tester you'll be integral to the software development team with influence across the full development lifecycle. Your key focus will be on writing an automated test framework using Selenium to test complex RESTful APIs such as REST Assured, you'll gain an indepth understanding of the software internals, debug problems and actively contribute to improvements.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as fulltime work from home for the foreseeable with the expectation to be office based 2 days a week going forward.

Requirements:

Strong manual testing and test automation experience with Selenium

Experience of testing APIs (frontend and backend), REST Assured API experience would be a bonus if not you can pick it up

Good working knowledge of CI/CD practices

Good knowledge of SQL

Ability to take ownership and build frameworks from scratch

Collaborative and pragmatic with good communication skills
