Data Architect - Finance SystemsUp to £80,000Home based role 18 Month FTC Experis IT are currently recruiting for a Data Architect to join one of our key clients on a 18 month fix term contract. My client have a office based in Birmingham City Centre, however this will be a home based role so we will consider candidates from across the UK (there may be occasional Travel to the midlands) As the Data Architect for Finance Systems, you will be a key player in the success of delivering the Portfolio of Change, an exciting opportunity to deliver transformational change to the way the client run their business and deliver their services.Having worked in the data field for some time, you will have experience in MDM/MDG and the setup of data centres of excellence. You will understand the data migration process and have experience in mappings and ETL processes to support the transition of data from current world to new. ERP and SAP and Dynamics knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities will include:Understanding and documenting the current data landscape, how it is supported by the application landscape and the current challenges being experiencedDefining and documenting recommendations on data definitions, models and dictionaries to support the education of the programme and business teamsFacilitating discussion around data in order to capture and document the future state of data architecture alongside processes and systemsParticipating in design workshops to drive and deliver outputs explaining the proposed data landscapeSupporting the planning activity of the workstream to ensure that all relevant activities are captured and planned in to deliver a successful phaseMaintaining accurate documentation and records, prepare and present material to stakeholders of a high qualitySupporting discussions around data cleansing activities in readiness for implementation across all process and system areas to drive a clear and consistent agendaSupporting and driving discussions and recommendation around the business migration strategy, feeding into the activity surrounding data mapping and ETL If this role feel like a fit you please apply with your up to date CV and I will contact suitable candidates with further information.
