"Join a talented team of developers and automation testers working on the Sky's award-winning Sky Q products, such as the Sky Q user interface and the Sky Go apps. We are expanding the team to work on exciting new projects and platforms and are creating new systems and features that make using them a great customer experience. This could include streaming various content types, set up and control of devices, analytics" - Scrum Master WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Develop high quality, testable and performant software using agile practices. - Help the team choose the best solutions and technologies for the task in hand. - Be participating in the full software life-cycle, including support and continuous integration. - Assist analysts and business partners in shaping, estimating and planning new requirements. - Own, troubleshoot and resolve code defects - Mentor and coach junior members of the team WHAT YOU'LL BRING: - At least 2-3 years developing production-grade front end applications with TypeScript and ReactJS. - Experience with CSS, SASS or LESS and have built applications with a responsive web design - Have extensive knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Flux and Mobx. - Have a proven track record writing tests with Javascript testing libraries, such as Jest, Chai, Mocha, Jasmine and Enzyme, ideally following a Test Driven Development methodology. - Have used revision control system such as git, svn or GitHub - Have experience with build management and CI systems such as Jenkins, Teamcity, Circleci, Travis, bamboo etc - Must be able to write high quality, elegant and clean code. - Experience of taking a senior or lead role on the development of complex frontend applications, that are highly robust, transactional and performant. - Ability to provide technical leadership, mentoring and coaching internally. - Experience with Docker or Kubernetes would be an advantage Group Product: We're the team behind the infamous Sky products line-up.
