This role is an exciting opportunity to join us and work within our Cyber Fusion Centre (CFC) team, who are a team of security specialists proactively working to protect Sky from cyber related threats. What you'll do: - Help the Sky Group Cyber Fusion Centre to develop and build a next gen cyber security monitoring and reporting platform.- By collaborating with your team - implement innovative dashboarding to improve the way we make decisions.
- Produce high quality, meaningful insights through analytics and cutting-edge predictive algorithms.
- Work as a self-starter and be actively curious about what numbers are telling us and how they can be actioned upon to improve our security posture, process effectiveness and operational understanding. Are we using our people, technology, and processes optimally...?
- Produce strategic views of our data and enable our teams to make better decisions using the data and telemetry available to us.
- Develop and maintain a clean, sophisticated and well thought out monitoring solution that allows the aggregation and correlation of data from the various cyber security platforms already in use across the cyber fusion centre.
- Work with colleagues across various disciplines and different regions to pull together holistic insights - this will include analytics, research, and the ability to take complex data sets and turn them into clear simple insights through an innovative dashboarding programme. What you'll bring: - Experience in deploying / implementing monitoring solutions across large enterprise such as OpsView, Splunk, Elastic, SolarWinds, Riverbed, Dynatrace, AppDynamics
- Strong academic qualifications with a focus on development or engineering.
- A passion for technology with skills in the following areas - PHP, MySQL, JSON, NodeJS, D3, REST API, XML, ElasticSearch, Splunk,
- Previous experience in advanced data manipulation in Advanced Excel/Power BI/SQL/SAS/Python
- Insight Experience: candidate must have experience in turning complex data into comprehensive and meaningful insights.
