This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team within Quality Control and Assurance. You'll be responsible for assessing content from entertainment, movies and sport for all platforms. QC is part of the wider Content Processing area of Content Supply Chain, together we have an aim to "get it right, first time"

What you'll do:

Objectively assess high-profile and commissioned content against the Digital Production Partnership's (DPP) Technical Standards document.

Assessing entertainment, movies and sport content ahead of transmission to customers for various platforms.

Identifying technical faults, swiftly investigate and identify the causes and recommend solutions to both internal and external clients.

Writing concise and comprehensible reports

What you'll bring:

Broadcast QC experience is desirable

A good grasp of production and post-production techniques or understanding of delivery processes, technologies and transcoding .

Knowledge and experience with multiple formats.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Essential that you have high standards when it comes to delivering great service

The ability to stay cool under pressure and effectively prioritise work are also imperative to the role as priorities constantly change.

Ability to remain focused and objective when assessing content for long periods of time
