Mobile Engineer / Developer (Android Java Kotlin) Are you an accomplished technologist with a wealth of experience in developing Android applications using Java and Kotlin?

The organisation has created one of the world's most advanced AI-based cyber security platforms, and in this Mobile Engineer role you will be supporting the creation of the industry's most advanced security forensic mobile applications.

As a Mobile Engineer you'll write the application using Java and Kotlin for Android, but will be encouraged to explore technologies and suggest changes to advance and enhance the current mobile development effort. You'll be granted a great deal of autonomy, so this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to take ownership and drive the development of an exciting application that will have a big, positive impact.

*Please note: this company can offer a remote interview and onboarding process as well as work from home for the foreseeable. There is a plan to return to the Cambridge-based offices after Covid. Post-Covid you can enjoy continued flexible work opportunities.*

Requirements:

You're degree educated (2.1 or above) in a STEM discipline from a top tier university

You have strong working knowledge of Java and Kotlin for Android applications

You have demonstrable experience in designing and writing Android mobile applications

You're a self-starter, able to proactively manage, prioritise and take ownership of your work

Experience with C++ and / or JavaScript is advantageous but not essential

As a Mobile Engineer you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £50k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
