Role: Project Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in the Mobile Gaming sector.

A Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and project closure of the Integrations workstream.

The Project Manager must have a combination of PM fundamentals, previous integration (3rd Party vendor Mgmt.) experience and be able to demonstrate the PM skills required to effectively carry out the role within OS

The ability to ask penetrating questions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general people mgmt. and behaviour management skills.

The Project Manager creates the path (a methodology and approach) for the project team members to succeed:

*Follow and adhere to the agreed PM Methodology / Project lifecycle that supports the Pm and the team in effectively managing the project's primary tasks, activities, milestones and deliverables

*Help the sponsors clearly define the requirements and scope and what success means for the project (KPIs/Benefits)

*Be aware of and manage project risks and dependencies

*Empower and trust the team to do their work (functionally / technically etc.) and the PM does the rest-of-the-organisation, wrt: effective project mgmt. and interfacing with 3rd Parties and key stakeholders.

*Effective Stakeholder and SME (Business end user) engagement is fundamental to the success of the project.

Project Managers must be able to demonstrate certified / recognised PM methodologies (throughout the project lifecycle) and use project management software and standards, such as Microsoft Project, for project plans and MS PowerPoint / Word / Excel for the production of weekly and monthly reporting, as well as effective Financial tracking and monitoring, along with resource allocation and effective resource mgmt.

*Strategic Influencing and strong decision making

Project Detail:

The project manager will be supporting the delivery of the vision for OS's gaming products, creating and managing the plans to deliver a scalable business. The successful person will enable the gaming squad to develop new business opportunities and maximising revenue, profitability and growth targets in line with the wider Consumer strategy.

*Must have full lifecycle experience to be able to take a game from concept through to delivery

*The successful candidate must demonstrate experience of managing Unity game development projects

*Must have experience of mobile games that use a LiveOps to manage and maintain content

*Must have an understanding of data management, architectural considerations and key compliance management (GDPR etc.)

*Must be able to demonstrate an understanding in gaming strategy and show how this would work in practical implementation.

The successful candidate will be part of the project leadership and be expected to drive the project and product delivery.

You will support the Head of Mobile Gaming and the Product Manager to ensure the project team can deliver to the timeline required, identifying critical paths and coordinating developers, designers, partnerships management, marketing, customer support and other data or service providers.

The project will involve planning and co-ordinating activity with multiple 3rd parties across all the disciplines from backend software development, front end design, artwork, LiveOps and marketing.

The successful candidate should demonstrate they can thrive in a fast-paced environment following an Agile Methodology: this is not a Waterfall project.

You will also support the Consumer Programme Manager in the effective control and monitoring of the Project within the consumer portfolio, as well as effective working with other PMs on the various projects in the Consumer Programme.

Experience:

*Must have experience of working in the mobile gaming sector and have experience working across the lifecycle from design, development and market delivery

*Must have a successful track record of delivering complex projects

*Must have experience of managing remote 3rd Parties

*Experience of working with multiple stakeholders both internal and external and managing delivery expectations across different teams.

*Must have outstanding organizational skills

*Experience of working in a matrix-based organisation for resource management.
