Job Title:Business Analyst - IT Controls
Inside IR35 Location:London Department/Practice: Job Purpose and primary objectives: Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Role Purpose
This role is within the Engineering Practice team in Technology. The Engineering Practice report directly to the CTO. The transformation is focused on technology controls so the ideal candidate will have past experience working in both software delivery and controls environments, including the optimisation and automation of controls. Given the focus on technology controls, a strong technology and delivery experience will be essential to the success of the role due to the need to design processes that meet the needs of the engineer. The role will involve a large element of liaison with internal technology customers and will suit candidates with a strong technical background who wish to spend their time changing and improving the organization through a series of continuous improvement activities. Key responsibilities include                                                              Owning delivery of control process transformation to work in an agile environment including automation (policy as code) and adoption                                                              Serving as a subject matter expert and facilitator to both control owners and engineering teams, taking responsibility for agreeing an operating model that meets the needs of control owners and delivery teams                                                              Effectively manage stakeholder expectations related to IT controls automation                                                              Provide clear communication on project schedule, delivery dates, scope changes, etc.to stakeholders                                                              Understand control requirements and translate into clear requirements that the development team can build.                                                              Testing the working software to ensure it meets requirements                                                              Manage risks and dependencies around the requirements                                                              Drive adoption and rollout of agreed operating models to the engineering teams                                                              Facilitating training and knowledge, fielding questions and supporting teams using the solution This requirement involves gaining a detailed understanding of the project and its requirements, driving solutions from inception to delivery and managing key stakeholder relationships. To be able to provide this level of service the successful candidate will be well organised, disciplined, be able to work with minimal supervision, have exceptional attention to detail, and able to follow tasks through to completion. Essential Experience: ? A strong technical background with delivery experience ? Experience in working in a controls environment ? Experience of transformation and operating in a DevOps / Agile environment ? Expertise in Business Analysis Methodology and able to bring best practice recommendations for structure and tracking to the project team. This would include a thorough understanding of the SDLC and different project methodologies, such as Waterfall and Agile. ? Ability to work autonomously under pressure to tight deadlines ? Experience of working on global initiatives, engaging with team members and stakeholders in multiple locations.
