Full Stack Developer WfH / London to £75k
Full Stack Developer / Engineer (SDK API) *Remote WFH*. Are you a skilled technologist seeking complex and interesting systems to apply your skills whilst continually learning and progressing your career?
You could be joining a highly regarded provider of serverless real-time infrastructure for the Internet that processes billions of messages a day and powers everything from live chat and VoIP calls to real-time pricing and stock availability for a multitude of services around the globe.
As a Full Stack Developer you'll focus on developing SDKs and APIs to enable developers to connect with the core platform. You'll operate across the full development lifecycle of client library software including the development of new features, formulation of API proposals and the published specifications for new features, partnering with clients to understand and deliver their requests.
The platform is written in Node with elements of Golang and Elixir; you'll use a range of technology which is constantly under review, you'll be able to suggest new technologies and contribute to open source projects that the company supports or integrates into the product. They're currently using: Flutter, Ruby, Go, Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, Dart, Clojure, Scala, Python and PHP.
The company is able to offer a completely remote interview and onboarding process as well as mainly fulltime work from home, you'll collaborate via Slack (occasional visits to the dog friendly office in North London will be required for team meet-ups, tech talks, lunch and learn events when social distancing is over, and if you prefer to be office based that's fine too).
Requirements:
Experience with a range of front and backend development languages with some or all of the following: Flutter, Ruby, Go, Swift, Kotlin, TypeScript, Dart, Clojure, Scala, Python and PHP
Experience of building complex SDKs and APIs
You have experience with HTTP, WebSockets, connectivity
Advocate of clean, well written code
Contributor to the open source community; you're likely to write blogs, attend tech meet-ups and conferences
Excellent communication / collaboration skills
