Software Engineer (Embedded C)

Basingstoke

£40,000-£50,000 + Training + Autonomy + 32 Days Holiday + Pension + Progression

Excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer fluent with Embedded C to join a world leading organisation offering autonomy and independence, long term stability and security and a large amount and variety of training.

In this role you will predominantly use Embedded C on a Linux OS to maintain existing code. You will then start working on a large variation of projects combining Hardware and Software and how they work together. You will learn various web development languages (if you do not already know them) and implement them into various pieces of technology. This role is currently fully remote, although once safe and sensible to return to the office you will be office based.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Embedded C and be strong with Linux. An understanding of IP Networking is also required for this position. The ability to write technical documentation is also a must.

The Role:

*Developing using Embedded C

*Linux OS

*Maintenance of existing code, moving on to a variety of hardware/software projects from there

*Currently fully remote but office-based post COVID

The Person:

*Fluent in Embedded C

*Strong Linux experience

*Understanding of IP Networking

*Commutable to Basingstoke daily
