Senior Embedded Software Engineers are urgently sought by this leading developer of power electronic systems. You will be based at their European R+D Centre sited on the banks of the Danube in the beautiful city of Regensburg. As part of a team the Senior Embedded Software Engineers will be tasked with developing software at hardware interface / bare metal level in C and C++ and for developing embedded real time software for new system architectures. The Senior Embedded Software Engineers will also be responsible for developing real-time simulation software for all new software products. You will have several years post graduate (Computer Science, Electronic Engineering etc.) experience coupled with a track record of delivering embedded software and software at hardware interface in C and C++ preferably for microcontrollers and / or DSPs. You will have a real problem-solving nature where you can think outside the box to write novel software solutions for complex real-world problems. Some exposure to Matlab and Simulink would be a benefit as would a knowledge of developing software for power electronics applications. Any German language skills would be beneficial but strong English language skills are a must! Candidates must be already living and working in the EU.
