Job Description

Service Delivery Coordinator - Birmingham We are looking to recruit a Service Delivery Coordinator with at least 3 to 5 years experience within IT for this global company.

The Client would like to see at least 2 years experience of working in 2 nd Line IT Support.

You will be required to plan and undertake specific IT project task deliverables within larger projects on behalf of the business and act as the interface between MS IT and the business on all IT service related issues.

Understand as appropriate, ITIL Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration, and Release Management together with issue and risk management using standard tools and Service Delivery methodologies.

Manage and prioritise onsite technical support and liaison whilst coordinating issues on the ground and gathering of technical information.

Act as an ambassador for IT to local staff via various methodologies (to be determined in conjunction with the receiving business). Communicate effectively with management teams on day to day IT issues and projects that will affect day to day operations. Act as an interface with the IT technical areas, and act as a central point for information.

Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with the business.. Provide an escalation point for issues within remit. Act as a key business representative with regards to Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning and testing for supported systems and offices. Act as local SME for all IT service related components.

Understanding of specific application maintenance and support agreements, including SLAs, OLAs and support channels. Facilitate office moves within sites, and act as central liaison for technical site access. Provide timely reports to the Business Relationship Manager.

Comply with Group Audit and IT Security requirements including knowledge and implementation of relevant FIM's. Develop relationships and understanding of other Group IT functions. Ensure process and documentation is fit for purpose. To be aware of new and emerging technologies.

You should have ITIL V3. Foundation Practitioner.

The salary for this role is £28K - £35K .

The position will be based in Central Birmingham.
