Electrical Estimator / Bid Engineer (High Voltage Projects)

North Bristol Are you an Electrical Engineer an Electrical Estimator / Bid Engineer with High Voltage experience, looking to for or to become one of the go to engineers working on technically challenging and varied projects with the industry's leading companies? On offer is the chance to challenge yourself technically and undertake more responsibility on a variety of projects within a growing company. The company have been established for nearly 40 years and in that time have sustained excellent service for industrial customers, leading to significant profit growth. They continue to deliver expertise to customers previously supported by local electricity boards whilst moving steadily into the renewable energy market. Due to this expansion they are seeking an Electrical Estimator / Bid Engineer to develop and assist on current projects in the UK. The Role

*Produce technically and commercially attractive bid submissions in order to secure future work

*Carry out site surveys, attend pre-tender, post tender and pre-order meetings

*Managing the full life cycle of tender enquiries from initial enquiry to submission.

The Person

*Bid submission / Estimating in transmission or distribution industries.

*Technical and commercial knowledge

*Knowledge of High Voltage systems would be an advantage
