My client is moving the 'On Premise' SharePoint 2013 platform, from a legacy Virtual Private Cloud to Azure Tenant. This requires new infrastructure, moving of content, reintegration of interfaces, with nominal impact to the wider business. There will be no change to the functionality and underlying SharePoint software versions.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Project Manager, leading the technical delivery and providing updates for the overall project plan, inform and discuss risks which may impact time, cost and quality of the overall project, as early as possible.

Technical SharePoint Lead to co-ordinate, support and undertake day to day technical activities.

Work with the SharePoint Architect to ensure the architecture design is implemented correctly and risks / issues are mitigated. Discuss technical complexities and solutions.

Work with the Application Service Manager, to schedule and utilise Support Team resources efficiently, prioritised with business as usual tasks and other project roles.

Co-ordinate day to day activities with 3rd Party suppliers, ensuring costs and time are optimised.

Manage the set-up of the technical environments.

Review the output of the technical proof of concepts and impact on the overall design

Ensure Service Enabling, Configuration and Release Management information is documented, maintained and version controlled by the project and support teams

Change Management is completed in a timely manner

Ensure technical issues and open questions managed to resolution.

Ensure Unit Testing, System, Integration and Migration testing is completed and test scripts are provided to the Test Manager.

Work with Test Manager to analyse, prioritise and resolve test issues. Plan releases of fixes during each test phase.

Support and participate in Implementation planning and execution

Assurance of the product quality

Contract till 31st December, possible extension to second phase in 2022.Required skills:Experience of SharePoint 2013 Migrations, broader SharePoint technologies, leading a technical SharePoint team, Cloud Technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure and M365.

Experience of 3rd party and custom integrations to SharePoint

Knowledge of Database and data architecture

Understanding of Modern Authentication, such as Azure AD

Ensure the platform adheres to Security and Data Protection Policies

Project collaboration will be using MS Teams, DEVOps and integrated with other productivity tools.

Excellent written and verbal communication (English)

Ability to track and analyse activities

Self-organising and time focused delivery

Strong stakeholder and expectations management

Experience of Microsoft SharePoint technologies

Broad technical knowledge

Ability to work as part of team

Good understanding of project lifecycle

Able to work in virtual teams

Business fluent English language skillsDesirable skills:Previous exposure to Opentext Brava, Opentext AGA Archiving / Content Server, IXOS Integration, Winshuttle beneficial.

German language skills beneficial for stakeholder management and working with 3rd party consultants
