We are searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst for our client, a very exciting, innovative and marketing leading business based in the Teignbridge area of Devon.The role sits within our client's IT and Business Solutions Division, you will be responsible for collaborating and communicating with business users and various technical teams to identify requirements and deliver a number of application, system and infrastructure development projects.You will work closely with the IT Programme Manager adding value to the team during a period of significant growth and demand for project identification and delivery from various business units and external customers.We are searching for an experienced IT Business Analyst, someone who is an excellent communicator and can demonstrate a successful track record of working with stakeholders to define their business needs, extract their requirements and help design and deliver effective solutions.You will ensure requirements are visible and understood by all relevant stakeholders regardless of whether the solution is a new product, service or system.You will be responsible for analysing business needs, writing clear requirements and creating data models and process diagrams that further support the business, whilst offering guidance and advice on what requirements and solutions best fit our client's needs, now and into the future.Working closely with key business decision makers as well as development and testing teams, you will ensure the solutions developed will meet business requirements in an acceptable and sustainable way.You will be working on a number of different projects at once and you will wear many hats as our client's tasks, activities and responsibilities change from time to time.You will be responsible for the following duties on a day-to-day basis;Analyse Business NeedsDefine Business CasesElicit Information from StakeholdersModel RequirementsValidate SolutionsProject Management Key ResponsibilitiesManage change requests for internal system development.Engage with the business to understand what each department does, map IT and business processes to help improve the understanding of current and future IT needs.Elicit IT requirements using appropriate models and techniques, developing functional specification documents and capture benefits and priorities for each project.Produce formal Project Documentation, including feasibility studies and options, requirements, request for proposal, statement of work and business readiness plans.Work with the IT Project Team to handover to Technical Teams and Programme Manager.Manage communication to business stakeholders throughout the discovery stage, remove and reduce barriers towards realising project goals.Ensure mitigating actions are in place and managed.Ensure compliance with ISO frameworks. (ISO 9001/ISO 27001)Produce Activity & Progress Reports. To be considered for this exciting role you MUST have previous experience in an equivalent IT Business Analysis role, working in fast-changing environments you will have excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate in-depth commercial experience of mapping business processes, identifying and implementing appropriate changes. You will have practical experience of requirements gathering, an ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at any one time.
