My client is currently looking for an AWS Architect to join them on a contract basis.

Main tasks:

*Undertake structured analysis of technical issues, translating this analysis into technical designs that describe a solution

*Be consulted about design and provide design patterns

*Identify deeper issues that need fixing

*Look for opportunities to collaborate and reuse components, communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

*Understand how governance works and what governance is required. You can take responsibility for the assurance of parts of a service and know what risks need to be managed.

Essential skills:

*Experience architecting/engineering for cloud

*AWS

*Terraform

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 10 weeks.
