Job Description 6-12 CONTRACT (REMOTE OUTSIDE IR35) A leading company in Data Analytics is seeking a Data Warehouse Architect with Business Intelligence experience to create new data warehouse functionality for its multinational business. What you will be doing: · Improve and modernise its analytics stack, from data collection, processing and storage, through to visualisation and insights· Taking a leading role in shaping the future approach to analytics delivery within a rapidly growing technology company· Working alongside experienced product owners to specify data warehouse design and ETL/ELT requirements· Designing and documenting new and existing data structures· Assisting with the development and implementation of business rules· Communicating new ideas with technical and non-technical stakeholders within the business Technical skills you will need: · Strong database design background with excellent documentation skills, including use of database diagrams· Proven experience of delivering data warehouse solutions to recognised design patterns (e.g., Kimball)· Familiarity with modern, cloud based, approaches to data collection, processing and reporting workloads· Creating and maintaining databases with SQL Server 2016+· T-SQL queries and programming· SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)· SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)· Power BI Not essential but nice to have:· Experience of analytics relating to people counting and/or retail sales· Knowledge of Amazon Web Services data services such as Redshift, Athena, RDS· Knowledge of Azure data services / Azure Synapse Analytics· Microsoft Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)· SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)· Azure Synaps
