Our client are a market leading Digital Health business leading digital mental health, enabling healthcare organisations to deliver clinically validated digital therapeutic care, that improves outcomes, increases access & scale while reducing costs. The platform continues to lead the industry with its effectiveness, engagement and range of clinical programs covering mental health needs.As a fast-growing company, doubling year on year are now looking to add a Head of Business Development covering the insurer and corporate markets.Role:Lead the commercial business unit that will develop, nurture and oversee the acquisition of key customers in the corporate, insurer and employer sectors across the UK and EuropeDevelop the strategy for significant scaling and growth of existing and new customers in this sector, creating the annual and quarterly sales forecasts and planning.Own the full processes associated with customer acquisition, lead generation, pipeline management and contracting within this sector.The Head of Business Development will create and execute on the solution/product penetration plan in territory, while removing blockers and maximising results.Contribute to tender, procurement, regulatory and contracting processes related to UK and European partnership strategyWork alongside existing commercial teams, including corporate and insurer partnerships, to deliver value-add to existing segments.Maintain a real-time understanding of the relevant competitive landscape.Generate growth the digital mental health platform with partners and deliver net revenue/contribution against quarterly KPIs.Build and maintain a pipeline with qualified opportunities, and effectively move them through the selling/partnership development process.Provide thought leadership within the industry as it relates to the platform, in line with marketing strategies, while building out network to identify strategic partnerships.The Head of Business Development will build and maintain relationships with all key stakeholders.Collaborate effectively across functions in Product, Development, Marketing, Finance and Operations to design, execute and/or enhance commercial partner processes, tools and secure large commercial engagements.Contribute to market intelligenceEngage all levels of the business as a market subject matter expert as well as an influencer towards organisational needs and interests.Contribute towards innovation and continuous improvement.Act as a trainer and/or mentor to colleagues and where appropriate develop local teams either within or outside the organisation.Requirements:Knowledge base of the digital health sector and all levels of the healthcare is essential, especially within the employer and insurer marketExperience of managing commercial relationships with corporate and insurer clientsFamiliarity with digital health regulations and, where necessary, medical device complianceDeliver sales results, as well as flourish in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.Solution-oriented mindset driven by natural curiosity, who is collaborative and has creativeComfortable in ambiguous situations and analysis.Ability to effectively influence and advise at all levels of an organization.Self-initiative with discipline to deadlines.Ability to lead and develop others.Written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail.Ability to grasp pricing theory and economics, related pricing processes, systems and controls.The skills to manage multiple projects at a timeProficiency in Office software, CRM tools.An understanding of sales methodology.
