We are seeking an experienced SQL Business Intelligence Developer to design and maintain solutions related to all aspects of the organisation, ensuring accurate and reliable data is provided to end users at all times. About the role: Working within the Information Management and Technology directorate, you will be instrumental in the development of a varied suite of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. In collaboration with the BI Development Manager, you will work on the technical aspects of system integration and the development and maintenance of ETL (extract, transform, load) processes. You will have an aptitude for Business Analysis and will be responsible for the development of automated workflow using Business Process Management (BPM) software package K2. A strong communicator, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure the maintenance of data integrity and system processes. This is an exciting and varied role in which you will have the opportunity to work on all the College's systems, developing knowledge on how they interact, ensuring the smooth flow of data across the organisation and implementing efficient and well-structured BI solutions which leverage corporate data to provide strong business value to our stakeholders. You will have the ability to work proficiently both independently and as part of matrix teams, project managing development requests. Requirements: As the ideal candidate you will have: Best practice technical design qualifications (such as Microsoft qualifications or training) Proven background in Microsoft T-SQL Development, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and ETL design Demonstrable experience in bespoke application development (for example using the .NET Framework, C#, Python, or similar) Proven background in reporting design, with strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Experience of database administration for corporate applications
