Senior Software Engineer

Full Stack JavaScript Engineer - £95,000 + Benefits

One of the UKs leading retailers is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team as they are commencing on a significant program of growth and transformation where technology is a key enabler.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal and visible role in driving the success of their business strategy through the development of high-quality, innovative and fully performant software. You will work closely with the team to collaboratively solve technical problems and the architecture to constantly improve the platform.    

Key Skills

Expert level JavaScript and modern frameworks (React, Redux, TypeScript)

Experience with Node.js

Experience with build automation tools (Webpack, gulp etc.)

Experience with testing frameworks and libraries (Mocha, Chai or Webdriver)

Experience building distributed systems

Experience delivering end-to-end web applications within a product focused team - comfortable deploying and maintaining all infrastructural and application services in a cloud environment
