My telecoms client is looking for a Content Editor for an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend. This role will be based remotely.

Why this role matters

As a content editor you'll be the objective voice of our customers and always put their needs first. You'll work closely with content designers and product designers (UX and UI) to support them with creating exceptional digital content.

You'll be an excellent communicator and a confident, versatile writer who can apply different tones of voice. You'll also understand how to flex tone and language, based on context or situation.

Working in small dynamic teams, you'll help to develop user journeys for a product, service or offer. This will include supporting designers, for example writing user stories and championing user needs. Also, helping to trial content through personalisation and A/B testing.

You'll become the go-to person for CMS expertise and best practice and play an active role in the development of the components we use to build and deliver content.

Our focus is on content quality over quantity. Your role will be crucial in producing high-quality content that's well researched, evidence-based, and SEO informed. This will involve user research and data analytics to discover content needs and solve issues.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll create content for simple, data-driven and personal purchasing journeys for our mobile device and home broadband products. The content you create will not only deliver an exceptional experience for our users; it'll also drive revenue growth.

You'll be working in the sweet spot between meeting user needs and commercial needs - and you'll be confident in challenging when the balance isn't right.

* Build and publish content in our CMS (AEM).

* Set up and QA A-B tests to optimise content using Adobe Target support designers to present complex information in a brilliant, personal, and simple way

* Apply user-centred thinking to all the content you create

* Continuous optimisation and improvement of content and copy

* Understand and support the creation of customer journeys to identify pain points and user needs

* Collaborate to ensure our content is SEO informed

* Use research and data to inform your work

* Ensure governance and compliance of your content

* Write, edit and proofread content

We'll also need to see these on your CV

We're a new team embedding content design as a new discipline. We need you to be ready to challenge ways of working and embrace learning at every opportunity. You'll get behind our mantra of 'build, measure, learn' - always working in ways that put the user experience first.

With a strong background, you'll bring experience in content creation, curation, editing, publishing, and production. And you'll be proficient at content governance, maintenance, and removal.

You'll love it here if you like to:

* work fast, always learn, accept failure, and iterate again

* always start with user needs, working towards user outcomes and business goals

* champion simplicity, efficiency and consistency, in all your work

* collaborate across team boundaries, using shared, agreed processes, tools and methods.
