JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title:Business Analyst (inside IR35) Must have Retail ExperienceDepartment/Practice:Across Retail Function Job Purpose and primary objectives: Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team): Role - Business Analyst The candidate is supposed to work in a Scrum team but will have individual responsibilities. Key Skills/Knowledge: ? Business Analyst would evaluate Business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas of improvements, develop and implement solutions ? Should have good analytical, conceptual and communication skills ? Perform Requirement analysis ? Conduct meetings to share ideas and findings ? Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management ? Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports ? Work closely with clients, technical teams, and managerial staff ? Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements ? Perform user acceptance testing ? Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users. ? It is important that the Business Analyst has agile experience as the team does not have capacity to support them on agile WoW, writing user stories etc. ? Business Analyst has to be comfortable holding conversations about systems, integrations etc as well as business functionality - they may not have specific knowledge but if they have worked in teams where they discuss technology with devs and testers, then that should be sufficient ? Business Analyst must be confident at questioning the meaning of data to understand what it really means and how it fits into the business process or customer journey. ? Business Analyst must be confident liaising with other dev teams as requirements may feed in to other teams in the organisation. ? There is no expectation that the Business Analyst will need to dig into code or data systems - the devs will do this. ? No expectation for Business Analyst to be data analyst or expert with data - some basic excel skills good as data is looked at to identify measures of success and benefits review. Experience required: Over 10 years of relevant experience Duration of the Assignment: 6 Months (Extendable)
