As England's independent regulator of qualifications, examinations and assessments, Ofqual's job is to maintain standards, to make sure that qualifications accurately reflect the knowledge and skills people have attained through a range of different learning methods.

We work with other Civil Service departments across the spectrum of education to deliver on our priorities and to ensure the best possible outcomes for learners in England. Ofqual's IM team delivers. Over the past five years we've transformed how Ofqual uses technology so that it enables the organisation to deliver what it needs. Our journey continues as our solutions are evolving to meet the growing needs of Ofqual's work. We use MS Azure technologies to deliver digital, data and technology solutions and are hugely proud of the difference we make to regulation and of the positive impact we have on our technology users. As part of the IM team you'll have the opportunity to work with leading edge technologies and cloud services, in a team with a proactive, solution-driven mind-set and collaborative approach to working with our users so that we deliver outstanding DDaT solutions and a great service to them. Senior Agile Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end delivery of Ofqual's IT projects, working with a range of internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions to time, cost, quality and scope. The role will join our agile development journey and play a key part in leading and facilitating scrum ceremonies, supporting the team to unblock issues and reporting progress on delivery to relevant stakeholders. Ofqual is a rewarding, dynamic place to work. The team strongly encourages flexible working and personal learning & development. Diversity and Inclusion is important to us. We actively encourage applications both from those within the Civil Service, and outside. We particularly encourage applications from those of a BAME background and those with disabilities, who are currently under-represented within Ofqual at this level. We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Closing date - 11th February 2021.
