Up to £250 per day (Up £65,000 Pro Rata) Starting Date: ASAP About Us: We are the definitive luxury yachting and lifestyle website and a leading independent online source for high-net-worth individuals looking to charter, purchase or refit a superyacht. Our team has acquired a global audience of key industry figures, including yacht owners, brokers, designers and shipyards as well as engaging journalists and luxury connoisseurs with written features and filmed interviews encompassing all aspects of the superyacht and luxury industries. About You: We are looking for a Junior talented back-end supprt developer to join our dynamic and friendly team. Ideally you'll hold good web development experience and are willing to work with various cutting edge technologies and tools. You are a self-motivated individual who can perform well under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You have the ability to work as a part of the team or on your own. You have a good understanding of web development and analytical skills, working with our designers and front-end developers towards enhancing user experience and streamlining processes. Responsibilities: + Working closely with our creative and production teams to build additional features and reporting to our Senior management teams.
+ Building out new API endpoints, and creating a CMS in Laravel Nova to manage the site.
+ Database and Application integrations to support our 3-Tier environment.
+ Troubleshooting bugs & performance issues.
+ Database Query development and tuning.
+ Infrastructure Optimisations (system and coding levels) Requirements: + Knowledge of the Laravel framework and ideally Laravel Nova.
+ Knowledge of relational database design and development.
+ Commercial experience with OOP patterns.
+ Experience with TDD / PHPUnit.
+ Experience with GraphQL.
+ Experience with SSR front-end frameworks preferably Nuxt.
+ Familiarity with best coding practices and ability to produce maintainable code.
+ Experience with maintaining and administrating Linux servers.
+ Experience with Git repositories and remote team integrations.
+ Experience with REST API service development and integrating with 3rd party/API services. Your Background / Previous Roles May Include:
