Senior Project Manager (IT) (m/f/d)Our client, a large pharmaceuticals company offers an interesting and exciting project as Project Manager (m/f/d). The position is for a strong Senior IT Project Manager with previous experience in delivering large scale, multi-million complex projects. You will bring strong expertise in managing senior stakeholders, external vendors, internal teams with proven capabilities of delivering project objectives in an ambiguous environment.Your role as Senior Project Manager (IT)Define, plan, and direct the execution of a broad range of projects while balancing the competing demands of scope, time, cost, quality, resources, and risk to produce high IT solutionsIdentify, acquire, and lead multifunctional, global project teamsEnsure project objectives/requirements are clear and agreed to by all stakeholdersManage relationships with various IT and business stakeholders to achieve project objectivesFacilitate project management activities across the entire project management methodologyEnsure successful and timely completion of deliverablesTrack progress against baseline schedulePlan, baseline and control costs to ensure projects are completed within approved budget.Manage project priorities and ensure adherence to the agreed scopeMonitor, document and gain approval for changes to schedule, cost or project scopeIdentify and apply systematic quality activities to ensure that projects employ all processes needed to meet Computer System Validation directivesConduct risk and issue management planning, identification, analysis and monitoring on projects.Formulate risk and issue mitigation strategies; recommend and implement solutions.Ensure delivery of project in compliance with CSV and PMM guidelinesMust effectively manage the projects across global locations and different time zones. Required skillsBachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or equivalent Experience dealing with management issues on a global level (scope, time, cost, quality, risk, team)Prior experience implementing IT Projects across a variety of platforms Agile practitioner with prior knowledge of Scrum and SAFe principles Experience in project organization and resource mobilization, and management of stakeholders Experience in virtual, cross functional project team management Proven vendor management experienceProven Organizational Change Management experienceStrong understanding of Project Management Methodology concepts (including waterfall and agile)Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV) conceptsExperience in leading virtual and off-shore teamsTraits of Entrepreneurial PM with focus on true organization value through project delivery Experience working in Healthcare Manufacturing a huge plus (nice to have) Familiarity with HP ALM or other Application Lifecycle Management tool preferred (nice to have) Familiarity with global rollouts / releases preferred (nice to have) PMP certification preferred (nice to have) Further informationLocation: Basel Start date: February 2021 End date: November 2021 (with possible extension) Interested?
