Senior Java Developer / Team Lead London to £110k

Senior Java Developer / Team Lead *Remote Interview WfH*. Are you a Senior Java Developer seeking a role where you can make a real impact, work with a modern tech stack on Greenfield systems and build a team around you?

You could be joining a FinTech that's Open Banking solutions are helping to transform consumer banking, driving improvements for customers.

As a Senior Java Developer / Team Lead you'll work on Greenfield development projects in the area of consumer lending such as mortgage calculation systems. You'll remain hands-on with architecture and design, leading and growing a small team of multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver first class solutions. There's modern tech stack comprised of Java, AWS, microservices, Kafka, Big Data technologies and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React; you'll be able to make the technology choices and set the standards of best practice.

The company promotes innovation and collaborative ways of working within Agile frameworks, you'll partner with other Team Leads and stakeholders, have your voice heard and influence technical strategy.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / process and 100% work from home during the current social distancing measures with 2-3 days a week WFH thereafter. Requirements:

You're a skilled technologist with a strong Java development background, able to design and architect solutions from scratch

You have experience of mentoring and leading others and are excited by the prospect of building your own team

You have experience with modern development practices such as microservices, cloud (AWS / GCP), Kafka, Kubernetes, CI/CD

You have advanced knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms

You're collaborative and pragmatic with servant-leadership skills
