An award winning software company serving the social housing and local government sectors is looking for an experienced Product Owner to join the team.
As the Product Owner for their flagship SaaS products you will be working to innovate, improve and streamline their products.
Please note: They are still actively recruiting despite covid-19. All of their staff are currently working from home so interviews will take place remotely.
You'll be working closely with stakeholders such as our business development, UX design & development teams and also directly with clients to define, develop and test new features.
We expect you to be able to hit the ground running and you must have previous experience in a similar role along with solid technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing towards product strategy and vision
- Work in an Agile environment and continuously review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables
- Develop & own the product roadmap
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Liaising with clients to identify new requirements or any issues
- Scoping new features and working with developers and designers to ensure they are delivered in the best way
- Conduct feature, functional and integration testing of product updates
- Organise and attend product user groups
- Demonstrate new ideas and features to internal and external stakeholders
- Represent the product at industry events and conferences
Skills Required:
- Excellent at building relationships with colleagues and clients
- Balance of technical knowledge and business acumen
- Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience managing developers
