Backend Developer Ruby API London / WfH to £80k

Backend Developer / Software Engineer (Ruby API). Would you like to be a part of a "tech for good" start-up, creating technology that empowers people to take ownership of pro-actively managing their health? You'll join in a senior role and will have exposure to the full-stack, be able to influence tech decisions and take ownership with great scope for career progression.

As a Backend Developer you'll join a small multi-disciplinary team where everyone has their voice heard, contributing to evolving product development. You'll be working with complex and secure data centric systems with challenges around scalability and robustness with a focus on Ruby backend development with exposure to the full stack including APIs and JavaScript / Vue.js.

The company has experienced great success in the last year and has been approached to become a healthcare partner of the NHS, this is a great time to join as they scale.

There is a fully remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the London (City) offices for two days a week with the rest of the week working from home if desired.

Requirements:

You have strong backend development experience including Ruby

You have a good understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, API design and good database structure

You're a collaborative communicator who enjoys technical challenges and problem solving
