Senior Design Engineer

£50'000-£55'000 + Pension + holiday
On offer is the chance to work for a leading company within the wastewater industry which can offer variety, security and progression.
This company specialise in the design and delivery of wastewater solutions for both municipal and industrial clients worldwide. As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now seeking to recruit an articulate, enthusiastic and experienced Senior Design Engineer to complement their highly professional team.
In this role the successful candidate will be tasked with project management of all design elements of projects as well as the management of design sub-contractors and design deliverables. They will also prepare design drawings for fabrication and installation with approved subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in design engineering, have a degree in design engineering and will also have experience using AutoCAD and Solidworks. Knowledge of wastewater treatment systems would also be highly advantageous but is not essential.

The role:
* Project management of all design elements of projects
* Management of design sub-contractors and design deliverables.
* Procurement of specialist plant and equipment
* Develop and maintain project programme using EXCEL or MS Project
* Office based
* Occasional travel and stay aways
The person:
* 5 years' experience in design engineering
* Experience using AutoCAD and Solidworks
* Degree in design engineering
* Knowledge of wastewater treatment systems is highly advantageous
