Lead QA Test Engineer / Manager London to £70k

Lead QA Test Engineer / Manager (Manual / Automation SQL) *Remote Interview WfH*. Scientific software house is seeking an experienced Lead QA Test Engineer to head up the QA team and take ownership of ensuring the quality of C# .Net software that aides more rapid drug discovery for the Life Sciences and pharmaceuticals industry.

As a Lead QA Test Engineer / Manager will provide mentoring and technical leadership as well as managing multiple test projects across the full testing lifecycle. You'll also remain hands-on; encompassing manual and automation testing of new features; you'll write new test plans for new and existing software; document the results in the form of test records and create incident reports and report progress, working closely with software development teams.

Driven by technology this company is able to offer a remote interview and onboarding process during the current social distancing measures; going forward you'll be expected to be in the office 2 days a week with the other 3 working from home.

Requirements:

You have strong software testing experience (both manual and automation testing)

You have experience of Project Management and of managing multiple, concurrent projects; planning resources and change management

You have experience of managing and developing others

You have a good knowledge of SQL (Oracle) and Windows

You have strong organisation and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail

You're a collaborative and pragmatic communicator, able to form strong working relationships, happy to mentor and develop others

Degree educated in STEM discipline
