PL SQL FX Developer - Investment Banking

PL SQL developer with C++ ideally Oracle SQL to develop FX systems middle to Back Office - FX experience not required - to work on updating  a legacy system Additional experience of unit-testing strategies, developing high reliability/high throughput systems required

This FX IT team sits within the Global Market IT department supporting, maintaining and developing the 24/5 FX settlements platform Originally the platform settled Forex and Money-Market products but recently it has been transformed to manage settlements for other OTC global market products. The core functionality covers confirmations, payments, accounting and any reporting requirements.

The role is for a PL SQL developer with C and C++ - desirable skills include:- 

Python

Good knowledge Linux/Unix OS & its commands

Strong interest in understanding the business needs

Source code refactoring
