This employer is one of the world's leading converged video, broadband and communication companies. They are an industry leading renewable energy company and have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager. You will be responsible for successfully overseeing quality installations of their range of products and services including; electric vehicle charging equipment, solar PV and battery storage solutions.

Reporting to their Head of Internal Operations, you'll work with their existing operations team to manage the delivery of their industry leading technologies. Managing several projects at a time, ranging in value from £10,000 - £1 million+, focus areas are; delivering on time, within budget, with superb customer service and to the highest levels of H&S. You must have relevant project management skills in a similar industry and experience in electrical engineering and renewables is a big advantage.

The candidate must be dynamic, driven with an attention to detail and positive work mentality.

Main responsibilities

- Programme planning

- Client liaison & management

- Contractor & Stakeholder management

- Design Work - the Design Team will support on larger projects

- H&S planning

- Reporting

- Budget management

- Identifying and gathering all required permissions

- Handover pack creation

The Person

- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of construction and installation project management, including all of the systems which feed in delivering electrical and civil installations

- Organisation: you will need to be organised and methodical, a self-starter who can manage your own work

- Articulate & effective communicator: the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, understanding individual needs

- Attention to detail: Apply a forensic approach to each stage of the installation process to ensure a 'right-first-time' outcome and capture potential issues before they arise

- Passion & purpose: Must be comfortable working in a rapidly expanding environment, working with others in high challenge & high support relationships and have the passion to help a small business succeed

- People Manager: you must be a motivator and maintain a can-do attitude at all times

- Decision maker: must be comfortable assessing situations and making decisions quickly

Broader competencies

- Experience of Project Management

- Project Management qualification eg. PRINCE 2, Agile, Scrum etc

- H&S management experience & qualification eg. IOSH, NEBOSH, SMSTS etc

- Electrical or electrotechnical experience - preferred

- Civils experience - preferred

- Renewables experience - preferred

- Strong business acumen

- Excellent IT & communication skills
