A SC Cleared Network Engineer is required by a prestigious organisation in their Farnborough offices.As the SC Cleared Network Engineer you will join a team of dedicated IT professionals to deliver new and exciting IT systems into the Defence environment. You will assist in developing end to end IP network security solutions working in a multi-bearer, mobile environment. You will be responsible for the technical delivery of the solution from high level design to delivery and transition to service. Working to define and deliver network solutions, taking high level design documents and delivering solution. Provide Costing, bidding, design and delivery of Server and Network solutions.

Essential Skills for the SC Cleared Network Engineer:Hold current SC clearance and be wiling to go through DVPractical experience in network design, implementation, configuration and testing (CCNA Qualified) - practical experience of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), compression and acceleration techniquesSkilled in Routing and switching (CISCO and Juniper)Experienced with firewalls (CISCO and Juniper)Data Diodes install and configurationPractical experience of routing protocols (OSPF), compression and acceleration techniquesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenPrevious experience of working with a complex network infrastructureWillingness to travel within UK and potentially overseas - hold full clean drivers' licence

Desirable Skills for the SC Cleared Network Engineer:Software-defined networking (VMWare NSX-T etc)Line communications (Telephones, Audio, Signalling, RS232)#IPv6Fibre optic communications concepts, methods, applications and limitationsFamiliarity with Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory and GPO
