A dynamic business based in Bristol is growing and has an opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer to join an exciting time for the company. They have successfully passed the 'start-up' stage and thanks to signing contracts with some of the largest companies in the sector now have the financial stability to grow and explore new technical avenues which include autonomous vessels, tidal turbines and dynamic positioning control systems. You can be part of a business who are making a positive contribution by developing and supplying products and systems which supply into the offshore renewables industry. They are also working on Innovate UK-funded R&D projects for developing autonomous vessels. You will enjoy a high level of intellectual challenge in this role, as your work will be varied and can include customer interaction to understand technical requirements, producing specifications, electrical design and electrical hardware integration and PLC programming. You would be working in a relaxed, informal environment with a great degree of flexibility on working hours, and the option for homeworking, office working or a mix depending on your preferences. This role would suit if you are self-motivated and want to be a part of a passionate team who are skilled at seeing opportunities and exploiting them. The role would offer a salary between £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience, with 25 days holiday and contributory pension scheme.
