Home based, Pre-Sales, Solution Designer, Facilities Management, Technical Pre-Sales, Salesforce, Microsoft, Azure, Reporting, Mobile Applications, High Level Solution Design. My leading client is looking for a Technical Pre-Sales Manager to be the glue between Sales, Bid and IT helping them to develop winning bid proposals for their clients by highlighting the benefits and opportunities of both our existing and emerging IT/technologies. You must have the balance of being technically strong & commercially focused and keen to work proactively with our sales teams across the organisation, Technical Awareness across a mixture of the below :

  • Facilities management applications (such as Concept Evolution/Maximo etc)
  • ESBs (Microsoft Azure preferred)
  • Electronic forms
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Mobile applications
  • Internet of Things

Key Tasks

  • Link between our inhouse IT team and our Sales teams so that they can submit compelling & winning bids to our clients
  • Proactively engaging with sales and bid teams to help them create compelling technology proposals for bid documentation
  • Creating and maintaining our Go-To-Market solution offering that incorporates a portfolio of sales / bid collateral for baseline / common solutions and associated costs. Liaising with sales / bid team colleagues to understand common requirements and inform the required content of the portfolio that will support them
  • During our negotiations on successful bids, providing the teams with high level overviews and indicative costings and timelines, using the technology proposals you have developed to support the bids
  • Working with the PMO to provide a monthly demand report, which will include a high-level overview of potential bid opportunities with a particular focus on those with greater resource requirements and / or short implementation times in order to minimise issues during service mobilisation
  • Working with the business and our clients to create a high-level solution overview that is then reviewed and agreed within the IT governance forums
  • Working with sales / bid teams to provide written responses to all IT related bid questions
