Big Data Engineer / Developer (SQL Kafka Hadoop AWS) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a data centric technologist? You could be joining a fast growing FinTech that is helping to revolutionise consumer banking through the use of advanced data centric, Cloud based technology.

As a Big Data Engineer you will design and develop new features and components on the Data platform / infrastructure, producing both detailed technical work and high level architectural design. The platform is built in Java on AWS infrastructure with AWS services and Open Source frameworks; you'll be encouraged to learn new technologies and contribute to the technical discussions.

Driven by technology the company can offer a remote interview / process and fulltime work from home likely to be until mid-2021 and beyond with 3-4 days a week WFH thereafter. Requirements:

You have a good working knowledge of Kafka, Hadoop, Spark or other Big Data streaming technologies

You've worked in AWS hosted environments (will also consider GCP)

You have a good knowledge of databases e.g. SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL

You're able to code with Java or Python

You're familiar with DevOps environments / Containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

You're collaborative and personable with good communication skills
