DV Cleared Oracle Developer

Location: on-site South West England and Remote - split

Start date: pending DV clearance transfer - likely April start

Duration: 6 month initially, extensions to follow

Details of role:

* We require someone with extensive knowledge and experience with the Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) software and/or Oracle Application Server (OAS) to join our Business Intelligence development.

You must be able to:

* Design and implement Oracle RDBMS structures, including experience with creating tables, indexes, triggers, stored procedures, and optimizing performance.

* Design, code, test, debug and document ETL modules and processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)

* Gather and analyse business requirements for new and/or modified functionality.

* Design and develop OBIEE/OAS dashboard applications including front end web catalogue and the repository metadata.

* Provide technical support to users and monitor the OBIEE/OAS systems.

Essential:

* Proven experience (3+ years) working with Oracle BI software and Oracle Fusion Middleware

* Proven experience (3+ years) developing with Oracle Data Integrator

* Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with customers & team members.

Desirable:

* Experience with Oracle Database including Exadata.

* Experience developing/supporting Oracle BI for Applications (OBIA).

* Oracle BI Certified Implementation Specialist professional accreditation.

Background:

* The team are Business Intelligence and they use Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise and need a developer who can develop and support this to extract relevant data and bringing it together on the oracle systems.

* This person will be needed for ETL mapping (Extraction, transformation and loading) and accessing and manipulating the data for the Oracle data Integrator.

* So the 2 parts to the role are data development and oracle business development.

* They would like someone with as much experience in developing in Oracle and building ETLs in Oracle data Integrator as possible

Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
