Node Developer London / WfH to £75k

Node Developer / Backend Software Engineer (Node.js PostgreSQL Linux). Opportunity to join a FinTech scale-up that operates within the Cryptocurrency space; you'll gain valuable industry knowledge and improve your technical skills within a supportive, technology driven environment with excellent career progression opportunities. The company has recently seen high demand, is going through FCA accreditation and is growing rapidly.

As a Node Developer you will focus on backend development of the core Cryptocurrency / Blockchain platform using Node.js. You'll be implementing data collection services in a microservices architecture and helping deliver APIs to the Data Science team and clients as well as partnering with client and product managers to come up with new product ideas. You'll gain exposure to a range of technology but will focus on Node.js.

The company is currently operating fully remotely with plans to return to the London office in time you'll join a friendly team.

Requirements:

Strong backend software development experience with OO languages (Java, Python, Ruby); commercial experience with Node.js

Experience with big data solutions or handling large datasets; PostgreSQL, Redis

Familiar with Linux OS and microservices architectures, DevOps type mindset

Collaborative with good communication skills

Keen interest in Crypto Currencies and Blockchain technology would be an advantage
