We are searching for a Head of Digital Development and IT to join us on a permanent, full time basis, working 36 hours per week. This role offers a salary of £70,000 - £75,000 per annum plus generous benefits. This position would normally be based from our head office in Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff however we are all currently working from home and want to continue to work in a flexible way in future; we are open to receiving applications from individuals who require flexible or remote working long term.   As an organisation we value innovation and change. What you'll do We are at the start of an exciting change journey which will grow an internal focus on digital development to enable us to better leverage data and emerging technologies to design and deliver customer and colleague centric services. As Head of Digital Development and IT you will be leading at a strategic level on business change through digital ways of working driven by customer needs.  You will develop and deliver our Digital Development strategy ensuring it is appropriate for our context, designed for scale, is data driven and sustainable; reusing and improving as required. You will provide leadership to the digital and IT teams, nurturing positive and productive working relationships with leaders from across the organisation to support the achievement of our strategic priorities.  What you'll need You'll be a strategic leader with the ability to deliver sustainable business change through digital ways of working. You'll have knowledge of emerging technologies, and will be able to shape and deliver transformative and innovative strategies from the initial planning stage through to launch and delivery, ensuring the smooth and effective transition from projects into business as usual. You will bring creativity and credibility to help the team deliver a culture of continuous improvement and a digital-first approach. You will need a relevant qualification and experience in the field of digital development and IT with a proven track record in delivering at a strategic level, and ensuring the effective transition of new ways of working into business as usual.
